Easy Midjourney Face Swap Tutorial

Looking to switch faces in your Midjourney images without breaking a sweat? This guide will walk you through how to use InsightFaceSwap on your Discord server to effortlessly swap faces. And the best part? It’s completely free! Let’s dive into the world of seamless face-swapping.

Step 1: Get Started with InsightFaceSwap

To begin, you'll need to add the InsightFaceSwap bot to your Discord server, similar to how you added the Midjourney bot. InsightFaceSwap is an open-source project, which means it's built by a community of creators who are passionate about digital art.

Adding the InsightFaceSwap Bot: Once your Discord server is set up, invite the InsightFaceSwap bot using this link: InsightFaceSwap Bot Invitation Link.

Step 2: Face Swapping with InsightFaceSwap

Here’s a quick guide on how to use InsightFaceSwap to swap faces in your images:

  1. Create a Midjourney Image: Start by generating an image in Midjourney where the face is clearly visible.
  2. Select the Face You Want to Use: Choose a face to swap in. You can create one in Midjourney or use an existing photo of yourself, a celebrity, or a friend. Make sure the face is centered and looking directly at the camera.
  3. Save Your Face Image: Use the command /saveid, assign a name to the face, and upload the image.
  4. Swap the Faces: Now, type /swapid, enter the ID you created, and upload the image you want to edit. If you're using the pro version, you can get creative by using multiple IDs (like "man" and "woman") or leaving a face out by using an underscore (e.g., "man,_,woman").
  5. Enjoy Your Creation: And just like that, you have your newly edited image with the swapped face!

Example: For example, I generated an image of a pirate on a ship using a royal portrait prompt from promptsclub.com

Then, I swapped the pirate's face with another random face, resulting in this fun and creative image.

To do this, I simply typed /saveid, named it "man," and uploaded the face image.

Then, I used /swapid with the ID "man," uploaded the pirate image, and voilà—I had a fresh new image!
